I've received no response. That's unacceptable. As I stated in my letter, I am _not_ going to file the Statement of Economic Interests. What exactly is the Office of the Secretary of State going to do about this? I am confident that the _law_ does not authorize any penalties against me. However, on the basis of your statements, I am highly concerned that the Office of the Secretary of State is going to take unlawful actions against me. I demand to know exactly what actions are specified by your office's procedures. ---D. J.
