There were 40864 *.net domains found in the 199707 NW DNS walk. MX lookups (falling back to A) found 20310 different IP addresses. Of the 20310 IP addresses, 18526 accepted SMTP connections. The following chart shows the percentage supporting various ESMTP options: 90% accepted EHLO 63% 8bitmime 2% auth=login 1% chunking 55% dsn 0% enhancedstatuscodes 1% enhangedstatuscodes [sic] 65% etrn 65% expn 82% help 57% onex 15% pipelining 0% rset 2% saml 2% send 79% size 2% soml 0% time 1% tls 0% turn 45% verb 7% vrfy 1% x-rcptlimit 1% x-turnme 0% xadr 2% xaud 1% xdsn 3% xexch50 0% xgen 0% xone 0% xque 8% xremotequeue 0% xsta 1% xtrn 54% xusr 0% xvrb ---Dan 50000 new aliases in 6 seconds. http://pobox.com/~djb/fastforward.html
