From: Tomas Berndtsson (tomas@nocrew.org) Subject: aclocal not looking in /usr/local/share/aclocal Newsgroups: linux.debian.devel Date: 2000/01/27 Hi, I'm not sure this is considered a bug in aclocal, but I find it annoying nevertheless. By default aclocal only looks in /usr/share/aclocal for M4-macros, but when a package installs their own M4 files, it will probably end up in /usr/local/share/aclocal, resulting in that aclocal will not find it, unless you till it to look there. In my system, I solved it by making /usr/local/share/aclocal a symlink to /usr/share/aclocal, but I could expect everyone using my packages to do the same. Bug or not, I'd like to suggest that it looks there by default too. Greetings, Tomas -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-devel-request@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
