John Whittaker has forwarded to me your comment that you and some other
people discussed SYN cookies shortly after SYN flooding was publicized.
Could you send me copies of the relevant messages, or tell me who the
authors were so that I can ask them for copies? As always, I'd like the
historical record to be accurate.
